onguard
hey Pat, what onguard lock do you recommend? I've downloaded the pdf catalog but i'm trying to figure out which is closest to the krypto evo 2000 mini. It seems that their minis are a bit smaller than the krypto. Are they too small? I can't recall seeing one in person. What do you think? I bet the people over there at onguard are having a party! -

About the locks...
I am going to see if I can pick up a bunch of onguard locks. They do not use the round key hole that Krypto does. I can get them from the shop I used to work at in DC. They are about $50 bucks. I am going to Virginia this week, so let me know if you want one. -
Not all...
the locks are useless. There are certain models of Kryponites where the keyhole is too wide, and no one has managed to open my MasterLock yet. That shit's still ill though. -
ULOCK.
ok. i thought that shit was junk. i didn't believe it. john paul and moeller and i spent about an hour trying it. it didn't work. then stricker comes back from wherever. he just wandered into the house, and he saw the ulock with a bic pen sticking out of it. he had NO IDEA about the quicktime movie. About 30 seconds later the lock is open...in pieces on our living room floor.
ditch your U-Lock. it's worthless. -

I'm back. Austin was really fun. I recommend everyone go down there and find out for themselves.
So, that ulock picking thing is really crazed. What can be done about that? When that info falls into the wrong hands, bikes are going to come up missing everywhere. That's really upsetting.
Garrett, was there really a ghost in your room? that would be awesome. -
